See if you can find the answer below, or contact us at info@kopernik.org.pl

In descriptions of films under the Planetarium tab on our website, you will find information about available language versions (English, Ukrainian and Russian). You can collect headphones with translation at the entrance to the projection room.

The live show preceding each film is conducted exclusively in Polish.

No. Visiting the Exhibitions is an individual exploration – it is about discovering the laws of nature enclosed in exhibits on your own, which is why we do not offer guided tours. External guides are not allowed to work on the premises of the Centre. All questions about the exhibits will be answered by our experts – animators (they wear red T-shirts with the logo of the Copernicus Science Centre).

There are no parking spaces for buses around the Copernicus Science Centre. Buses can be parked in one of the city car parks. A full list of city car parks is available on the Municipal Roads Authority website.

The best way to get tickets is to purchase them in advance through our website: bilety.kopernik.org.pl.
All tickets are sold online — if they are not available there, they are not available at the ticket desk either.

In the top-right corner of the website, you can check the current availability of tickets for the Exhibitions and the Planetarium.

Who can buy tickets without waiting in line?

Priority access to the ticket desk is granted to:

  • visibly pregnant women,
  • persons with disabilities (with official proof of disability).

Please note: we do not accept ZUS retiree or pensioner ID cards as valid documentation for priority access.

Children under the age of 13 are not allowed to stay at Copernicus without adult supervision. We encourage you to accompany your children while visiting the Exhibitions.

Yes – if you are buying tickets for the same day, you can purchase tickets to the Exhibitions and the Planetarium in one transaction.

Additionally, by buying these tickets together (a combined Exhibition + Planetarium ticket), you get a lower price and the possibility to go from the Exhibition area to the Planetarium via internal passage, and return the same way to the Exhibitions after the show.

No. Only individual tickets are available at the cash desks. You can buy group tickets at bilety.kopernik.org.pl or book them by calling our helpline (22 122 55 55) from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. till 4 p.m.

Theoretically, yes. If available, you can purchase five tickets (at the group ticket price) at the cash desks to add them to your group reservation. In practice, however, this can be very difficult. Tickets available at the cash desks and online belong to the same limited pool. If they are already sold out, you cannot add them to your reservation.

If you know in advance that you need more tickets for your reservation, please send us an e-mail at: info@kopernik.org.pl.

Prams cannot be left in the cloakroom, but you can take them into the Exhibitions. The restriction applies only to the High Voltage Theatre, the Robotic Theatre and the projection room in the Planetarium. However, before entering the ‘Bzzz!’ exhibition, prams must be left in front of the entrance gate to this area.

Unfortunately, we do not accept tourist vouchers.

The rules for ticket refunds are described in the Copernicus Science Centre Visitor Regulations (§ 12), which are available on our website under the Documents tab.

There is a special passage leading to the Planetarium in the Exhibitions area. After the show, you can return to the Exhibitions via the same corridor and continue your tour if you have a ticket to a given attraction.

For private use – yes. For business and professional purposes, please contact our press officer (Katarzyna Nowicka, phone: +48 604 194 689, e-mail: katarzyna.nowicka@kopernik.org.pl).

No. We send tickets to your e-mail address. You simply need to put your printed ticket or a ticket with a QR code displayed on your smartphone against the reader at the entrance gate to the Exhibitions.

Yes. Anyone purchasing a discounted or free ticket must have a document confirming their eligibility for the discount (details of discounts can be found on our website under the Ticket prices tab).

Is it possible to rent an exhibit?

Yes, it is possible to rent an exhibit but not just a single one. We rent our mobile exhibition.

The “Captured Mind” exhibition was created because of the immense popularity that the first travelling exhibition of the Copernicus Science Centre enjoys.

Is it possible to rent science shows?

Currently, the CSC offers science shows that can be rented for schools, conferences, picnics, festivals and team-building events. Our science shows are a combination of experiments, scientific knowledge and a bit of humour. Each show is a series of thematically grouped experiments that engage the audience, and the show’s level of difficulty and form of presentation is adjusted to the age and preferences of the audience. It is a perfect offer for all those who like ambitious and extraordinary entertainment.

Read more about science shows.

Is it possible to rent a room at the Copernicus Science Centre?

The Copernicus Science Centre has its own Conference Centre, which is located in the central part of the building. More information.

To what extent is it possible to establish cooperation with the Centre?

Companies interested in cooperation may be partners of the Centre as regards development of the galleries and co-creation of programs and workshops for visitors. As part of the partnership, it is possible to take care of a particular exhibit.

(Note: We do not provide information about specific reservations on Facebook, as the profile administrators do not have access to the cash desk system.)

To exchange a voucher for a ticket, log in to bilety.kopernik.org.pl, select the attraction to which the voucher refers and go to the ‘cart’ summary. Then select the yellow ‘I have a voucher’ tile, enter the code number in the appropriate field and press ‘Redeem’. Remember to complete your purchase by selecting ‘Buy’. Done!

Exchange at the ticket office is only possible if there are places available (for safety reasons, the number of people allowed to stay in the building at the same time is limited).

There are over 400 exhibits in the Exhibitions area. To see them all at a leisurely pace, you will need around 5 hours, but it is also possible to see them in 2–3 hours.

We sell tickets until 1.5 hours before the closing time of the Centre.

If you want to book tickets, provide your invoice details during the reservation process or send them later by e-mail before paying for the tickets.

If you want to buy tickets online, select the type of invoice.

If you want to buy tickets at the cash desks, please request an invoice before buying the tickets.

Yes. Samsung’s employees may enter the Exhibitions free of charge upon presentation of their ID card, but this is only possible if the number of people in the building does not exceed the limit. You may have to wait a moment until some visitors leave the Exhibitions area.

First, check the Spam / Junk Mail folder in your e-mail inbox. You can also log in to your account at:bilety.kopernik.org.pl, where you will find your purchased tickets.

If the tickets are not there, please write to us at: info@kopernik.org.pl, attaching the confirmation of transfer.

First, reset your password yourself, and if that does not help, send us an e-mail at: info@kopernik.org.pl or contact our helpline at 22 1 22 55 55.

At times, reaching our helpline can be indeed quite difficult. This is especially true in April and May, when we provide tickets for very crowded dates. If you cannot reach us by phone, please send us an e-mail to info@kopernik.org.pl. We will answer you in the shortest possible time. And if you just want to buy tickets to Copernicus, use our purchasing website: bilety.kopernik.org.pl. The website works flawlessly and you can buy tickets directly there, without having to contact the helpline in this matter.

You can enter the Exhibitions up to 30 minutes before the reserved time and up to 60 minutes after it (after that, the tickets expire). This means that if you have tickets for 3 p.m., you can start visiting the Exhibitions between 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Note: the above rule does not apply to the Planetarium and Laboratory classes, where everything starts on time and you cannot be late.

Items found at Copernicus that are worth more than PLN 100 are stored for a maximum of 7 days. Items not collected by their owners within this period will be handed over to the Lost Property Office in Warsaw (ul. Dzielna 15). The found documents are immediately handed over to the police (ul. Ludna 9).

Additional information about items found on the premises of Copernicus can be obtained from the cash desk staff and the helpline (phone 22 1 22 55 55). You can also send an e-mail to info@kopernik.org.pl.

If you are in an official Covid quarantine, you may return the tickets you have purchased. To do it, contact us at zwroty@kopernik.org.pl.

You must arrive for the classes on time.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to shorten the classes.   They are designed to make full use of the entire 60 minutes – the classes have a certain narrative, and the experiments presented during them are closely interrelated. Shortening the duration of the classes would mean omitting some element of the presentation, which would disrupt the continuity of the classes.

Yes. All information on this subject can be found on our website under the Copernicus without barriers tab.

We are aware of the fact that some travel agents promote their services by promising the CSC tickets. However, you should bear in mind that nobody can sell tickets to the CSC for the dates that have not been announced yet. All tickets for new dates are made available at the same time and under the same conditions for everyone. In case of doubts, please check your reservation number by sending us an email at info@kopernik.org.pl

There are no guides at the Copernicus Science Centre. However, you can seek the assistance of the explainers working in every gallery. They are our experts, science enthusiasts, who are willing to explain the operation of the exhibits and talk about scientific phenomena. It is worth to benefit from their presence. Feel free to ask them about anything you wish. The explainers are dressed in red.

More about explainers.

You can park your car in our small, unguarded and paid car park. However, the number of spaces there is limited.

Yes. It is located to the left of the building entrance. You can leave your belongings in self-service lockers (dimensions: height 95 cm, width 40 cm, depth 40 cm). To lock the locker, you need to use a 2 złoty coin (which will be returned when you reopen the locker).

There is no luggage storage at Copernicus.

Organised groups leave their belongings in a cloakroom specially prepared for them. Belongings are accepted and returned by a staff member. The cloakrooms in this part of the building are open during the Centre's opening hours.

There is a separate cloakroom in the Planetarium.

Payment for tickets to Copernicus is processed by an external electronic payment service provider. Unfortunately, we have no control over the time it takes for a transfer to be made between the bank servicing your bank account, the electronic payment system and Copernicus's bank account. If it takes too long, the transaction is cancelled by the electronic payment service provider and the reserved tickets are returned to the pool of available tickets. If the payment was successful, you will see it as a paid reservation in the Account tab.

We sell all tickets online not later than 1.5 hours before the admission time. At the cash desk, you can only buy tickets for the current day that have not been sold online.

The opening days and hours of the Exhibitions and Planetarium can be found on our website under the Opening hours tab.

The Copernicus Science Centre consists of interactive exhibitions with more than 400 exhibits and the Planetarium, where you can watch shows about the stars and films under the dome and listen to concerts and lectures.

The Exhibitions area offers also extra attractions: the Robotic Theatre, the High Voltage Theatre, the Thinkatorium, and mobile workshops – you will find a full schedule for a given day right after entering the Exhibitions area.

It is possible to book extra classes for groups.

From May to October, we offer free access to our rooftop garden. Its detailed opening hours can be found on our website under the Visit tab.

The ticket contains the name of the attraction, the start time and, in the case of exhibitions, a QR code that opens the entrance gates.

Go to the cash desks, give the employee your reservation number or receipt and collect your ticket.

For the youngest visitors, we have a special exhibition called ‘Buzzz!’ (for children up to the age of 5) and shows at the Planetarium: ‘Polaris’, ‘One World, One Sky’, ‘The Secret of Shooting Stars’, ‘Dinosaurs: A Story of Survival’ and ‘Kitz and the Cats – SuperMoon Adventure’. You can find a detailed schedule on our website under the Planetarium tab.

There is a bistro and two cafés in the main building: one in the Exhibitions area and the other in the Planetarium.

In the Exhibitions area, you can visit the café or eat the food you have brought along in specially designated areas.

The Wiem bistro is located outside the Exhibitions area, so you can plan your meal there before or after your visit. Entrance to the Exhibitions area is one-time only.

Only organised groups.

Telephone reservations are not available to individuals. Groups can book tickets by calling 22 122 55 55 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., from Monday to Friday.   Such reservation must be paid for by bank transfer within 7 days after the reservation.

Free admission is available to children under the age of 2, assistants to persons with disabilities, and assistants to persons with disabilities with a confirmed significant degree of disability.

Reduced-price tickets are available to children and school pupils, students and doctoral students up to the age of 26, holders of the Polish Card (upon presentation of the Polish Card), pensioners and disability pensioners, seniors over 60 years of age and persons with disabilities.
